TWO ARRESTS MADE

A DRUGS warrant executed by police at a property in Copplestone during the evening of Wednesday, March 28, resulted in the discovery of a significant amount of cash and Class A drugs.

Devon and Cornwall Police Pro-Active Policing Team, with local officers, discovered bundles of notes totalling more than £40,000 and a bucket of crack cocaine, heroin and cocaine, thought to be worth more than £50,000.

A police spokesman said: "Police carried out a drugs raid at a property in Copplestone near Crediton on Wednesday night.

"This is currently ongoing and enquiries are underway.

"A 20-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man from the local area have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug."
