THE people of Crediton have been thanked for their generosity to an appeal to help those suffering due to the Turkish/Syrian Earthquake disaster.
On Saturday, February 11, on Crediton High Street and on Monday, February 13 at Crediton Morrisons the Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface collected for the Turkish/Syrian Earthquake disaster.
Rotarian Sheila Ralph explained: “The funds will be given to ShelterBox for their relief efforts in the devastated region.
“Rotary members involved are delighted to say that £1,044 was raised in the collection.
“We would like to thank the kind people of Crediton who gave so generously to our appeal and Morrisons who let us collect at short notice.”
