AT the Christmas Farmers’ Market held in the Town Square in Crediton on Saturday, December 16, Judy Tucker, with the kind permission of the Farmers’ Market Committee invited donations from those attending for sprigs of mistletoe sourced from apple trees in her garden in support of the Holy Cross Crediton Campaign Roof Appeal.

With kind weather, trade was brisk, and the available mistletoe was soon snapped up raising the wonderful sum in donations of £104.12.

Judy was ably assisted by Maggie Sandercock and Catherine Lawes.

In addition to the mistletoe sales at the Christmas Farmers Market a further sum of £75.60 has been raised by Jim Bond of Four Seasons who invited donations for mistletoe also kindly supplied by Judy Tucker from her garden apple trees.

Appeal chairman Bill Jerman, explained: "As we move into 2018 the Campaign Roof Appeal has raised £91,000.
