Margaret proud to have donated 100 pints of blood

WHEN her sister had to miss a blood donor session in Crediton years ago, Margaret Haydon went along in her place.

She has been a regular donor ever since, proudly notching up her 100th “pint” at Crediton last week.

Crediton-born Margaret said her sister had always donated at Crediton even though she lived in Exeter.

“This was 1973. Because I had something I needed doing urgently, my sister missed that session, so I went instead and have been donating ever since,” she said.
