A CREDITON woman, well-known for her charity fundraising, has raised money for a number of charities.
Mandy Rowe had her hair cut in October and was sponsored by friends and family.
Her hair was cut by Debbie Vinnicombe of Kezia’s hair salon, of Crediton.
Since then she has run a Name the Dog competition, a competition to name a cuddly toy dog, and this money has been added to the amount she raised from her sponsored hair cut.
Mandy recently presented £110 to ELF (Exeter Leukaemia Fund), at the charity’s Crediton High Street shop, and also presented £100 to Hospiscare, presented at the Crediton High Street Hospiscare shop.
Mandy said Hospiscare and ELF had both supported her family in times past.
She thanked all those who donated and took part in the competition.
More recently she was also able to make a donation to the Blue Cross from her fundraising efforts.
