A LOCAL man was arrested after a vehicle hit three parked cars in Park Street, Crediton, causing considerable damage on Saturday, June 22.

Crediton Police were called to attend the incident at 1am, arriving shortly afterwards.

The officers made enquiries to locate the driver of the offending vehicle.

Police have confirmed that one person was arrested nearby and taken into custody and that enquiries are still ongoing.

The offending vehicle was recovered by police powers.
