Organisers, helpers and guests at the very popular Soup and Cheese Lunch held at Newton St. Cyres Parish Hall atteded by local vicar, the Revd Hilary Dawson, seated centre. The ladies had been very busy making a variety of no less than five soups, after which there was a selection of cheeses, with French bread. This was followed by coffee. There was also a draw with numerous prizes and stalls. The event raised more than £350 for church funds. Thanks were expressed to all who had helped and supported the event.
