LOCAL talent will be on show at the second Upton Pyne Craft and Vintage Fair which takes place in the Village Hall on Saturday, November 19 from 12 noon to 4pm.

The little village, a mile off the Crediton road just outside Exeter, boasts a potter, professional landscape and wildlife photographer and a catering company amongst its inhabitants and all will have stalls at the fair.

Popular Exeter artist Sally Tuckey, who has family connections with the village, will be there together with potter Jane King, photographer John Howells and OC Catering. Laura Jackson ‘s stall Handsome Hounds will be selling hand-made dog bandanas and collars and there will be vintage and second-hand stalls, Christmas decorations, jewellery, oak candle holders, hand-made cushions and more, together with teas, coffees and home-made cakes.

The fair is being organised by the Friends of Upton Pyne and proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the Grade 1 Listed village church.

Organiser Linda Findlay said: “We hope people will come along and enjoy the fair and the delicious food on offer and perhaps take a stroll down to the 12th Century church, reopened earlier this year after major renovations, where there is a trail for children and lots of to see.”
