EVERY single day Israelis are committing massacres akin to the worst atrocities that I learnt about in history books.

Tanks shelling into crowds of starving people coming to get morsels of food, murdering dozens of people at one go.

It is hard to fathom how, as a world, we have let it get this far and, even worse, we are normalising this behaviour.

Deliberate starvation is a war crime, yet Western governments are doing nothing to stop Israel blocking all aid trucks.

Not a grain of rice or a bottle of water has been allowed in. Babies, such as Jouri al-Masri, who died at three months old from starvation (and the pictures are shocking) are the victims.

With Israel not allowing in any baby milk formula and mothers so malnourished they cannot produce milk, over 70 babies and young children have so far died of starvation since the blockade began, with the numbers rising rapidly.

Some 112 infants PER DAY are being diagnosed with malnutrition, with all the long-term health, physical development and mental implications this brings.

This is barbaric and savage and our government has done nothing.

Israel should be isolated and under sanctions for its horrific acts against humanity, but instead they are given immunity and more weapons.

Israel will tell you that they have set up aid centres (four to be precise) known as death traps.

Palestinians kept behind fencing until the Israelis say “go”, then it’s a race to get the food whilst the IOF fire on them with machine guns and tanks (Dr’s at the hospitals have said the wounds of the dead (over 800 in six weeks) and injured corroborate this).

Does all of this sound familiar – kept behind fences, dehumanised, killed with impunity, starved to death – history is repeating itself.

Some feel that this is nothing to do with us.

It’s a far away place and not our problem, but the reality is that this is the biggest test of human indifference.

It is our biggest test of whether or not we would do something if our fellow men, women and children were suffering in such immense amount – and we have failed.

Israel – the world’s most moral army – I think not.
