ON February 20, the main road in Bow was closed AGAIN, no buses running, which is now a regular occurrence.
I work in Exeter, so more often than not my husband has to drive me to Copplestone for the train or bus.
Like everyone else we then have to travel on the back lanes past the church and out past the doctors’ surgery.
We were coming round a blind bend at a slow pace and were hit by a speeding motorist.
We were up the bank as my husband had tried to avoid the collision.
I could not get out of the car, I was shaken, had banged my head and had neck pain.
Whilst my husband tried to speak to the other driver and finally try to move our car, (I could not get out), other motorists complained about waiting five to 10 minutes loudly and aggressively to my husband.
He explained about me being injured.
Not one person checked how I was!
Astonishingly all they were concerned with was getting to wherever they were going.
We did move the car whilst still witnessing speeding vehicles!
This was 11.30am in the morning.
If you were one of the motorist's complaining to my husband please think about your behaviour.
It has left me sad and disillusioned about how uncaring humans can be.
