A GROUP of ladies who meet in the @100 cafe on Crediton High Street have been busy knitting items for Ukraine.

Members of the Friday Craft Inn have been knitting hats, “people” (representations of people), hearts, gloves and flowers in shades of yellow and blue.

These items are being sold at Crediton Farmers’ Markets, on Crediton Town Square, to raise funds for DEC Ukraine Appeal.

The ladies are supplying their own wool so that all the proceeds will go to the DEC.

The items will be available at a future Farmers’ Market.

The group meets in the @100 cafe every Friday between 10.30am and 12 noon and say that cafe owners, Eve Drover and Jonathan Elworthy have been very supportive and reserve a space in the cafe for them each week.

Many of the group are making items for Ukraine and some are working on their own projects too.

Everyone is welcome - just go along to one of the groups.
