THE Crediton Branch of the Royal British Legion held its AGM in the Town Hall, Crediton on October 15th October.

John Shaw was elected as Chairman, John Higgs as Vice Chairman, Mrs Jenny Pooley as Hon Secretary, Jane Sansom as Hon Treasurer and Mr Derek Rowe as Poppy Appeal Organiser.

The election was presided over by the President, Mr Nigel Cooper.

Volunteers were called for the Poppy Appeal collection at the supermarkets and on the High Street.

A total of 26 people attended and the committee thank all those who were able to attend.

A get together and buffet were enjoyed in Club Crediton after the meeting.
