A TEMPORARY one-day road closure in Crediton has been announced by Devon County Council to enable Devon Highways to carry out resurfacing work.

It is anticipated that the work at Jockey Hill (from the Longmeadows to Deep Lane junction) will take place on Monday, December 12.

However, in the event of poor weather, DCC has granted Devon Highways a further four days in which to complete the work and pre-surface preparatory vegetation clearance.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via Blagdon, A3072, A377, Barnstaple Cross, Higher Road and vice-versa.
