CREDITON Town Council’s Parish Path committee, chaired by Councillor Michael Szabo, held its first Boxing Day Ramble which attracted 20 enthusiastic walkers and one well-behaved dog!
The weather was ideal for the entire 2.3 mile ramble and walkers were treated to several historical anecdotes about the local area from Heather Sansom, a parish path volunteer and former Crediton Town councillor.
Several of the walkers offered very sensible feedback about more rambles and all agreed they wanted them more often during the year.
Watch this space for the next opportunity to experience our lovely local countryside, meet new people, and take in some fresh air.
