HUNDREDS of people enjoyed watching the film “Grease” at the Open Air Cinema, which returned for the third year running in Newcombes Meadow, Crediton, as part of CredFest.

The rain cleared for the occasion and everyone took along blankets, deckchairs, etc, many taking picnics and others enjoying refreshments courtesy of Crediton Food Festival and other local food stalls.

The film was chosen by public vote, starting late when it was dark enough to see the giant screen.

Donations were accepted to make sure the cinema can run again next year.
