A RECENT fundraising effort for Children in Need, at Hayward’s Primary School in Crediton raised £654.49, a record for the school.

Everyone paid to wear something spotty and made cakes for the Great Hayward’s Bake-off. There were some real showstoppers, but the children judged the Pudsey cake as the best!

The event was arranged by teacher Scott Baker and the School Council.
