CREDITON Library is extending an invitation to join some fun activities during the October half-term holiday.

On Monday, October 26, from 11am the activity is Autumn Craft.

With member of staff Mary, children of different ages will be able to create a couple of autumn hedgehog crafts.

Watch on Crediton Library Facebook at 11am on Monday, October 26 (or on the Crediton Library YouTube channel later). You will need a paper plate or white card or A4-sized sheet of paper, scissors, colouring materials, glue and autumn leaves. Library staff would love to see any photos of the art created.

Hedgehog and autumn leaves colouring sheets are available to collect from Crediton Library.

It is open weekdays, except Wednesdays, from 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm and Saturdays from 10am to 12 noon.

On Thursday, October 29th, from 4pm, the activity is Author Reading and Discussion.

Cat Barker will be reading her new book "Egypt’s Best Embalmer" via Zoom and then answering questions from her audience.

For those interested in the topic of Egypt, mummification and embalming, this will be a fun and interactive experience.

Free tickets can be booked on Eventbrite and joining details will be emailed to those taking part:
