AS part of national “Dying Matters Awareness”, the Growing Well Garden beside Bow Medical Surgery will host a special afternoon between 2pm and 5pm on Thursday, May 8.

The Garden will provide a calm, reflective setting for a display and sharing of Dying Matters materials, along with conversations about death and dying with Jackie, a Humanist Funeral Celebrant and Healthcare Chaplain; Susan, GP at Bow Medical Practice and Emma, Therapeutic Gardener and Midwife.

Caring for a dying loved one, living with a life limiting illness and bereavement bring all sorts of emotions, questions and considerations that may not have been raised previously.

The trio will be available to give people time and space to talk, ask questions, think and connect those who attend with further support.
