CREDITON Army Cadet Force Detachment’s annual inspection was this year conducted by Major Paul Morris, on May 18.

The cadets have this year achieved a number of BTEC Level 2 qualification in Leadership and Management, a range of Duke Edinburgh Awards at gold, silver and bronze and the cadets army Star syllabus and assessments.

Cadets were presented with a number of awards during the inspection and they participated in a "first aid incident" where they had to deal with a mock up of a major car accident in which the Inspecting Officer, Major Paul Morris was very impressed.

Major Morris was extremely impressed with Crediton Detachment and awarded them with the grade "Above Standard."

This is the highest grade that can be awarded and it is due to all the hard work of all the cadets and adult volunteers.
