"GRAVE Robbing and Body Snatching in Devon" is the somewhat macabre, but intriguing title of Bow and District Historical Society's next talk on Monday, March 27 (7.15pm for 7.30pm).

The Society is delighted to be welcoming as the speaker Dr Peter Selley, well-known locally as the former GP for Bow.

Since retirement in 2007 he has been researching the history of medicine in the area and putting the results on his website "The Medical Gentleman of Bow", which is full of fascinating stories of characters and events in the area.

The meeting at Bow Village Hall (EX17 6HU) is free to members of the Society and £4 for visitors, including light refreshments.  More details are available on 01363 82468.
