AT the Christmas Luncheon Club, held at the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum, Arthur Turner presented hostess, Jean Burrow with a large Poinsettia plant and a gift token for all her kindness.

A collection was also made for the staff for their excellent service at the luncheon club meals throughout the year.

Mrs Burrow also gave everyone a free draw ticket, hidden under their cup and saucer. There were many excellent prizes for the draw.

Entertainment was given by John and Eileen Stevens on the keyboard, for carols both before and after the lunch.

The next lunch will be held on Tuesday, January 16.
