STALLS filled the Boniface Centre at Crediton on Saturday, November 19 for the annual St Nicholas Fair with many of the gift ideas for sale being hand made locally.

There was also a lot of fun with the Medieval fruit machine where each of the three “jesters” produced a random fruit, no conferring.

The kitchen was kept busy producing thick luscious soups, teas, coffee and cakes, all hand made.

The stall run by Anne Jerman, organiser and Parochial Church Council secretary, and helpers was loaded with stainless steel kitchen ware of all sorts and some very nice silver pieces including a selection of hip flasks.

Other stalls included greetings cards, unusual Advent calendars, books that included a tribute to our late Queen, Elizabeth II and a Ukrainian Christmas.

Crediton Methodist Church was there with an amazing choice of goodies. Crediton Fundraising Group for ELF (Exeter Leukaemia Fund) was another which had a lovely choice of gift ideas.

Among the lots for the Silent Auction were a guitar stand, wooden fruit, kitchen equipment, chairs and garden equipment.
