THE Freemasons of Unity Lodge in Crediton presented a cheque for £200 to The Rowell Centre in the Karis Hall at Crediton Congregational Church.

Sally-Ann Botting, who accepted the cheque on behalf of The Rowell Centre said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the cheque and will put some of the money towards craft projects for the centre. We are going on holiday soon and this will also help towards those little extras when we are away.”

Colin Mackenzie Worshipful Master Unity Mark 783, Worshipful Brother Ian Lanyon and Worshipful Brother Alan Tonkin attended the presentation at The Rowell Centre.

Worshipful Master Mackenzie said: “This is one of the Freemasons many funds for charity and it is especially pleasing that we have money for such worthwhile causes in our community.

“We do not fundraise, but are entirely funded by the generosity of the Freemasons and their families.”
