LOCAL author and illustrator, Dame Babette Cole will be taking part in Extreme Imagination, Exeter's festival of writing for and by young people, at Exeter Cathedral on October 28.

Babette's event, "A Day of Enchantment," will include a talk (10.30 -11.30am) and a workshop (1.30-2.30pm) on writing and illustrating a children's picture book.

The organisers, a partnership of the major arts and cultures organisations in Exeter, will give free entry to anyone with a "James Rabbit and the Giggleberries" book.
