THERE will be a free rest area for parents and their children at Crediton Food and Drink Festival on Saturday, July 12.

Parents will be able to feed their babies and youngsters play with toys in Crediton BAPS (Baby and Parent Support group)’s tent for the duration of the event, which lasts from 10am to 4pm.

“It can be hard coming out to community events like this with small children and babies – trying to juggle everything, wondering if there’ll be somewhere to sit down and feed or change,” a Crediton BAPS spokesperson said.

“We’ll be there all day, with a shaded area, you can sit and relax, get to know other mums, feed and change and we’ve even got toys so that they can play.

“We will also have suncream on hand in case anyone is in need.

“Come and say hi, we’d love to meet you!”

Crediton BAPS is a baby group that runs every Tuesday at Crediton Methodist Church from 12pm to 2pm. It is free and all are welcome.
