THE Jane Iffla Memorial Walk, a panoramic walk over the Raddon Hills of approximately four miles, will take place on Monday, May 30.
Starting and finishing at the new Stockeigh Pomeroy Village Hall (EX17 4AU), the funds raised will be shared between the Crediton Friends of Hospiscare and the village church.
Jane Iffla started the fundraising walks about 10 years ago. She was a member of Stockleigh Pomeroy Church and also played a role in the Diocese.
She was a great supporter of Hospiscare and died in the Exeter Hospice not long after retiring from her post as an Exeter headteacher, but the walks have continued.
Registration is at 2.15pm with the walk starting at 2.30pm.
Entry is £5 per adult (children under 14 free - accompanied by an adult). Dogs on leads will be welcome and tea and cakes will be for sale when walkers return to the hall.
For more information please telephone Kathy on 01363 866394 or Rosemary on 01363 866303.
