THERE was a fond farewell at Crediton Library for retiring library supervisor Sue Lee on Friday, May 30.

Members of the Sustainable Crediton Food Larder Group which runs the hugely successful Food Larder, which operates from Crediton Library, gathered to thank Sue for all she has done.

There was a rendition of “For She’s a Jolly Good Fellow” before speeches and the cutting of a celebration cake.

A presentation of gifts and a card was followed by an afternoon tea which featured a variety of cakes.

Thanks were also extended by the Refugee Group in Crediton who commented on how welcoming Sue had been to refugees and all at the library.

This included running classes and exhibitions by refugees who live locally.
