THE flags are up again!
To celebrate the re-opening of Crediton Town centre the Town Team have again decorated the town with colourful flags which were made by local traders and community groups.
It was seven years ago that the Crediton Flag Project saw the traders and groups get together with artist Charlotte Turner to make the flags.
In total 78 beautiful flags were made, each one representing a local business or community group.
Most of them were put up during the evening of Friday, July 10, and they really brighten up the town.
Some of the 78 suffered from wear and tear and were beyond repair but most are still a colourful addition to the town.
Volunteers from the Town Team, Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface and Crediton Traders helped to put up the flags in double quick time, teams working in different areas until the job was done.
The Flag Project is funded by Crediton Town Council.
