THERE was a good attendance at the St Lawrence Fayre on Saturday, August 12, many people going along to see the new Icon of St Lawrence.
A total of £490 was raised for the church funds.
On the Sunday 40 people attended the Patronal Evensong, Rev Matthew Tregenza dedicated the Icon, and gave an interesting address regarding Icons and St Lawrence.
The West Gallery Quire sang “Psalm 61”, “The Magnificat” and the “Nunc Dimittis”.
