THE charity Farming Community Network will hold its annual Plough Service at Sandford Parish Church on Sunday, January 15, starting at 6pm.

The service will be led by Rev Paul Fillery, the newly licenced priest at Sandford, and the plough will be carried into the church for blessing by members of Newton St Cyres Young Farmers’ Club.

The preacher will be Robert Partridge, a farmer from Teignmouth.

There will be refreshments available after the service.
