LOO and Rob would like to remind everyone that their Fair Trade gift shop is still open on the square - handily just next door to The Green House - so for birthdays, special occasions, or just to have a look around, they would love to see you.

In The Green House Gift Shop you will find some new, beautifully hand painted, wooden boxes from India, new designs of bamboo socks and scarves for spring and back by popular demand are window bugs, fairly traded from South Africa and made by the Zulu people.

The Green House is still thrilled to offer the biggest selection of Fair Trade items in Crediton.

Loo said: “Our range of Fair Trade chocolate is ever increasing, as well as the usual staples like tea and coffee.

"As awareness grows our customers are becoming more discerning about the provenance of their food, and it is good to be able to reassure them about the labour conditions of the growers.”

So, help to put power and money into the hands of local producers in developing countries by buying Fair Trade!

Don’t forget to bring – or pick up – your Green House loyalty card, that can be used in both shops.
