ALL trains on the Dartmoor Line between Exeter and Okehampton have been cancelled due to “extreme heat”.
Temperatures of up to 32 degrees Celsius are expected in the local area, according to the Met Office.
Replacement coach services will be available.
The Tarka Line between Exeter and Barnstaple is unaffected.
“Due to the extreme heat that is forecast for today... we have had to cancel all trains to/ from Okehampton,” said a Great Western Railway spokesperson.
“Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
“Coaches will be running in place of the trains but will not run to train times due to taking longer by road. Please wait for the coach at the rail replacement bus stop.”
