10.30am to 3.30pm - Heritage Open Day, Holy Cross Church, Crediton. Self-guided church tours, tours of the historic Governors Room and hear about the Heritage Project, organ playing, guide to the church’s stained-glass, stories behind the names in the WW2 memorial book, carving of a Green Man, woodwork by craftsmen of Dart & Francis; learn about Crediton’s Olympic Gold Medallist, display of archive material; DVD to provide accessibility for those with mobility problems. Parking, refreshments and toilets available. All welcome.
