Harriet will be in conversation with novelist, academic and musician Ellen Wiles at 7pm on Thursday, July 23 for an evening exploring family, memory and the enduring pull of the places we call home.

Widely celebrated for her richly detailed storytelling and unforgettable characters, she is known as one of the UK’s leading writers of sweeping, multi‑generational fiction. She lives in Bath with her family.

Ellen Wiles is a novelist, artist and academic. She is the author of works across fiction and creative non‑fiction, spanning books, audio and film, and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter. She previously worked as a barrister and brings a distinctive, interdisciplinary perspective to her writing and conversations.

The evening will include an audience Q&A, followed by Harriet signing copies of The Treasures.
