ALAN Quick, Editor of the “Crediton Courier”, was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of Cheriton Fitzpaine Ladies’ Evening Organisation.

Speaking at the Village Hall, Alan spent time talking about the history of the 50 year-old title and its focus on reporting key issues in the area.

He explained how things have changed and how it has evolved with new technology.

Alan spoke about the digital aspect where news is accessible within minutes on the Courier website and social media sites.

Members were shown old editions of the Crediton Courier going back to the first issue, which brought back memories of years gone bye.

Alan finished the talk with some amusing stories.

He was thanked by CLEO chair, Julia Sanders for an interesting and informative presentation.
