BELLWAY is making good progress on its new housing development on the north-eastern edge of Crediton.

Libbets Grange will provide 257 new homes and public open space, as well as land (2.7 acres) for a future primary school and for the relocation of Crediton Rugby Club (21-acres).

Located at Creedy Bridge/Peddlarspool, on land to the north of Old Tiverton Road and Exhibition Road, the development in Sandford Parish will comprise 201 properties for private sale and 56 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership.

Two to five-bedroom homes will be available for the private market, much-needed affordable homes for local people include one-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom houses.

There will be space for five gypsy and traveller pitches and play areas.
