LADIES SECTION
A LADIES County Stableford 10 was played at Downes Crediton Golf Club on September 17 and results were as follows:
Silver Division: 1 Sophie Buton, 2 Alison Hilton (BB9), 3 Judith Ezard.
Bronze Division One: 1 Fran Shrubsole, 2 Betty Willey, 3 Sue Bonner(BB9).
Bronze Division Two: 1 Linda Gill, 2 Ruth Ford (BB9), 3 Norma Barry.
Several Ladies played a nine hole qualifier which was won by Jane Jewitt (BB6) from Sheila Woolacott.
Results of the EWGA Medal 18 played on September 22 were as follows:
Silver Division: 1 Angela Battershall 75 net, 2 Sophie Button 76 net (BB9).
Bronze Division One: 1 Joyce Gilg 72 net (handicap cut to 25.2), 2 Di Parsons 76 net.
Bronze Division Two: 1 Linda Gill 83 net (BB9), 2 Stephanie Griffiths 83 net.
