MORE than two dozen people took donations for Ukraine and Moldova along to Bow Gospel Hall on Monday, February 2.

A small group of volunteers from the church gratefully received the many bags containing bedding, clothes, toys, medicine, food and more.

The donations will be delivered to charity Christian Response to Eastern Europe (CR2EE) in Exmouth for sorting before being taken to Ukraine and Moldova soon.

Donations can be dropped off regularly on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month between 10am and 11am at Bow Gospel Hall.

The volunteers also raised as much as £685 for CR2EE from cake and craft stalls at an afternoon tea event in July. Sales of cards and advents calendars before Christmas gathered an extra £183.50 for the charity.
