Alan and Eve Mitchell of Crediton who have celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary. They received more than 70 card,s including one from the Queen, and celebrated with a family party with their children, grand children and great grandchildren. Married at Chiswick in 1949, they came to Crediton in 1972, buying 56 East Street, changing the name from HairCare to Stephanie's and then east56 before they sold the property three years ago.
