A CREDITON woman will today, Sunday, December 16, be among three people having their heads shaved in aid of the cancer charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Juliet Borlase is no stranger to having her head shaved for charity.

She last did it on August 18 in 2017 to supporter her sister while she was going through chemotherapy in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

On this occasion she is "braving the shave" to support her niece while she goes through chemotherapy to get rid of a tumour.

Juliet's niece, Katie, is braving the shave herself with her friend Lauren.

Lauren explained in a social media post thanking people who had sponsored the trio: "On behalf of Katie and I, thank you for all of your support. It’s a little overwhelming!!

"In slight disbelief that we hit the big £1,000 in 24 hours! Especially with it being a very expensive time of year.

"We have raised the target to £1,600, but aim to keep pushing and see just how much we can raise.

"I will be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust - all 17 inches of it!

"Katie’s Auntie, Juliet, is also braving the shave with us."

If you would like to make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support, Juliet says she would be very grateful.

To do so, please visit: https://bravetheshave.macmillan.org.uk/shavers/41F28E81-5C04-4BC7-AD2A-C50D4E26B066 and type in Juliet Borlase.
