BRUCE Evans, the proprietor of Grape and Grain, the Crediton High Street wine shop, was recently presented with a surprise gift ahead of his forthcoming wedding.

The gift was a selection of specially selected fine wines and was made by a group of his regular customers at one of his monthly wine tasting sessions.

Bruce said afterwards: “Many thanks to those who donated. It was a complete surprise and will probably be the best wedding present I will get.”
