CREDITON Town Council took the lead and organised a Health and Well-Being Open Day, which was held at the Boniface Centre in Crediton on Wednesday, April 25.
The purpose of the open day was to showcase the excellent range of health and well-being services available to residents of Crediton and the surrounding area.
Those who went along were able to find out about a range of services available.
In the evening there was a talk with guest speaker, Dr David Jenner, entitled: “What does current NHS policy mean for the people of Crediton and environs?”
Crediton Town Clerk, Mrs Clare Dalley, said following the event: “Health and well-being is a significant topic for many of our residents and we felt it was very important to provide residents with the opportunity to see the wide range of services on offer to them and also give them a chance to talk with the service providers.
“The feedback from those who attended was extremely positive.”
Mrs Dalley added that the talk by Dr Jenner was very informative and interesting.
