TO protect three valuable green community spaces, Crediton Town Council has made the decision to long-term lease the Fulda Crescent, Spinning Path Gardens and Greenway Play Areas from Mid Devon District Council.

The Town Council says it would like to improve these areas and is encouraging local residents to voice their ideas.

As a community space, it says, who better to consult than the local community!

The Town Council will be consulting residents that live near the three play areas, or anyone who uses them, to gain their views on the future of the areas.

Town Clerk, Mrs Clare Dalley, said: “We want to know what you would like, what you have seen elsewhere or what you think would encourage people to utilise these green spaces!

“If you have any ideas for the future of these areas, please pick up a copy of our short Play Area Questionnaire from the Council Offices in Market Street, Crediton or download a copy from the Town Council website at: www.crediton.gov.uk .”
