MEMBERS of Crediton Town Band entertained in the Town Square during the morning of Christmas Eve.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions only six brass players can play together outside and must be socially distanced, so band members took it in turns to play from 10am to midday.
Band members also had to use Moisture Guards on each instrument to restrict moisture droplets in the air.
There was a good crowd of people that sat around on the benches on a dry, cold, sunny morning listening to a selection of Christmas Carols.
The band had decided not to make a collection this year, but one very kind lady who was unaware of this, made a socially distanced collection (bag on the end of a broom stick) and collected £92.
The band donated this to Crediton Foodbank.
