CONTINUING Crediton Methodist Church’s celebrations following its major refurbishment, Crediton Town Band gave an excellent and very entertaining concert, the first full concert under the band’s new Musical Director Colin Crossman.
The music ranged from Mozart to Abba and from “The Lion King” to “Londonderry Air”, culminating in the 1812 Overture complete with audience participation in terms of making the canon sounds with brown paper bags!
A very talented young pianist Devon Pike gave several piano solos.
It was a very enjoyable and entertaining evening which raised £237 for Church Refurbishment funds.
