Crediton to Barnstaple rail line now re-opened after train hit tree

NATIONAL Rail has announced that trains are now able to run between Barnstaple and Crediton following a train hitting a tree which fell on the line at Eggesford this morning, Monday, December 27.

It is not known if there were any injuries or damage to the train which hit the tree.
