FOR the third year running two members of the Royal British Legion Crediton Branch, Jane Sansom and Joan Grant, attended the Antiques Fair at the Matford Livestock Centre in Exeter by kind permission of the events manager Tina Bennett.

A total of £300 was raised from the sale of merchandise and donations by those attending the Fair.

The money, along with a further £90 recently raised from a table top sale and the annual lunch draw, will start off the Poppy Appeal.

Thanks go to Tina and also to Nikki Grant who supplied cup cakes decorated with a poppy.

The next event for the Branch will be the AGM on Wednesday, October 18 at the Masonic Hall, Union Road, Crediton, at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

All members and non-members welcome. A bar and light refreshments will be available.
