Member of staff Karen Greenslade said she made a Christmas tree from inflated surgical/examination gloves and also decorated resuscitation masks to decorate the window to keep with a medical theme.
She said that members of the public had greatly admired the tree, many people stopping to take a photograph of it.
It was the public who voted for the best shop or business window displays this year, "Crediton Courier" readers returning the voting forms printed in the newspaper on December 13.
The Rosebowl for the Best Dressed Window was presented by Alan Quick, Editorial Manager at the “Crediton Courier”.
Second prize went to the display created by A E Lee Outfitters and in third place was the wildlife scene in the window at Folk2Folk.
Highly Commended and in fourth place was Grape and Grain wine merchants.
Certificates were presented to the four businesses with the best windows.
Prizes, to fourth place, were donated by the “Crediton Courier”.
