WITH a heavy heart, on Saturday, August 10, the Arthur family closed Crediton Pet Shop, which has been a much-admired business on Crediton High Street for so many years.

The family say the closure is largely due to some exciting opportunities away from the business combined with a change in personal circumstances.

The family would like to say a huge thank you to its loyal customers for the years of support.

Leigh Arthur said: “We have been trading for more than 40 years, starting originally with Keith and Audrey, later taken on by Sue and Graham and, of course, more recently by myself and Katie with some help from Claire.

“A special mention must go to our extended pet shop family member Heather who has been with us more or less from the beginning and somehow put up with working with us all!

“We have all had an incredible time running the shop and made some wonderful friends and memories along the way.

“Thank you so much to each and everyone one of you who have supported us all at Crediton Pet Shop.”
