CREDITON Foodbank and Support Hub has fed more than 1,800 local people so far this year.

Its statistics for the first five months of 2025 show it has handed out as many as 879 food parcels.

The parcels made 27,360 meals for 145 households, feeding 1,824 people, of which 561 are children.

If you would like to contribute to the food bank’s stocks, check its weekly wish list on Facebook and drop items into one of its donation boxes.

The donation boxes can be found at the Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets, the Spar and Tesco Express convenience stores and the Crediton Mole Avon branch.
